Everyone knows that recreating somebody's work is much harder than to create your own one. Here you go the example. The generic brochure of Hampton Inn costs like $300 per 1000 prints if you order it from the designated print house. If you want some customization the cost goes up to $400 per 1000 copies + $300 for "the customization" + additional charges for any additional design work. Well in order to reach my flexibility comfort and customize my brochures according to my business needs, as well as to "cut the middle man" and save some costs (not to mention breaking of the monopoly of the print house) I recreated these. It took me like 3 days of research, about the same amount of time fighting obstacles of a corporate kind and half a day of design. I would say it did worth the trouble - my freedom of choice above all, I guess :)
