NB!!! The CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 (Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act) establishes requirements for those who send commercial email and spells out penalties for spammers and companies whose products are advertised in spam.

Well tell me if there is a single company out there, not using the e-mail marketing as one of the main marketing weapons in its armory. I hate the e-mail marketing since there is nothing quite exciting or creative about it. And the other reason that I hate it for is its never decreasing effectiveness. As a marketing specialist I would say there is no question whether to use it or not… but my advise is – make it as creative, as interactive and as fun as possible. Otherwise you are just another drop in the sea.
